The time arrived and all the plans were in place. It was now up to the Lord. The first night Angus gave a service at Wembezi Stadium and an estimated 1500 people attended. The Campaign then moved into Estcourt, to the local sports grounds. Rain did not dampen the spirits as the people came in their droves. They came on foot, they came by car, they came by Mini-bus taxi and they arrived in lorry loads. We were all so excited to see how the Lord was moving in our community.
The next morning the sun shone and it was a glorious day. The campaign, now in town, was to continue here for the next five days. The day was a national holiday, Human rights day, and the morning service was not well attended. An estimated 1200 people. We put this down to the fact that advertising for the morning service was almost non-existant. However, as the day drew on the clouds rolled in and once again, late that afternoon, it started to rain. The evening service went well and attendances were over 1500. (See all the pictures) The following day, Thursday, the news had started to spread. The organising committee had prepared the "soil", Angus had sown the "seed" and the "harvest" was rich and rewarding. We did not look back from there on. The calls to Faith were fantastic, and the response was tremendous. Praise to the Lord our God. (See all the pictures)
Healings took place daily. The Lord moved with such force even Angus seemed overwhelmed and was filled with joy and praise for the Lord. The lame and crippled were made to walk. The dumb made to speak. The blind made to see. Demons were cast out. And the injured and in pain cured. (See all the pictures)
All glory be to God. Thank you Jesus for saving us. Thank you Lord for moving in our community. Thank you Lord for saving our people and our country. ‘If My people who are called by My Name, will humble themselves, and pray and seek My Face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and heal their land.’ That’s God’s promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14.
